Kill the Quit and Recover the Right Way with Kill Cliff

If there is one thing I’ve learned in my time both as a fitness enthusiast and as a competitive bodybuilder, it’s that living a healthy lifestyle dictates that recovery is just as much a priority as training and maintaining a healthy diet. Muscles are built in your sleep, they say – and they’d be right! In especially rigorous training (cough, PREP, cough), the cure to most ailments such as soreness, exhaustion, and/or plateauing is taking a rest day or two, and of course, supplementing correctly. Enter KILL CLIFF Recovery Drinks!

For those of you who are unfamiliar, KILL CLIFF is a recovery drink designed to help you refresh and recover after rigorous training, by providing you with electrolytes, enzymes, vitamins, green tea, ginseng, and other recovery agents – all in a neat little 15-20 calorie drink. Much like me, there is nothing artificial in this neat little can – no fake colors, flavors, or sweeteners – just some slightly fizzy deliciousness. KILL CLIFF was founded by a Navy SEAL, and a portion of proceeds goes towards supporting the Navy SEAL Foundation, and their families.

Now that you know all about KILL CLIFF, allow me to let you know how it has been a life-saver for me these past few weeks. Folks, I am currently 4 weeks out from my return to the bodybuilding stage. That means that my training is ramped up, my diet is tighter, and my rest time is practically non-existant. My average day is 16-18 hours long, and I am expected to fire on all cylinders, all the time. Quitting is not an option for me, and KILL CLIFF is most certainly helping me #KILLTHEQUIT.

Whether I’m supersetting at the gym for hours, or running for what feels like forever in an effort to burn the fat, I’ve been relying on KILL CLIFF to replenish and restore me once I’m done. Nevermind the fact that each flavor I’ve tried is delicious, so it feels like I’m having a little treat after my especially grueling workouts. Besides restoring my depleted electrolytes, KILL CLIFF has also helped me conquer that dreaded post-workout crash. Pretty sweet, indeed.
