Welcome, ladies and gents to another round of Fragrance Friday. Today, we have something for the boys – Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest creation – UOMO – which is literally translated to the word man, in Italian. Uomo is a blend of gourmand and woodsy notes, for the modern gentleman.
Uomo is unlike any of the scents Mr. Krasey (MK, for short) has in his repertoire (and boy, does he have a lot). The fragrance opens with black pepper, cardamom and bergamot – which then gives way to tiramisu (YUM), orange blossom and ambroxan (musk and amber). On the drydown, you get the base notes of cashmere wood, sandalwood and tonka bean (vanilla).
On MK, the drydown is definitely woodsy, with just the right amount of sweet that keeps my head buried in the crook of his neck during snuggle time. He is already a huge fan of EVERYTHING Ferragamo, so it goes without saying that he loves the scent as much as I do!
You can find Uomo by Salvatore Ferragamo both online, and at a department store near you. It is available as an EDT spray, aftershave lotion, and aftershave balm.
