Well folks, I am now four full weeks into contest prep, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I am putting more than my fair share of time in at my gym (just stole my mayorship back on foursquare- hollerrr!). Given my love/hate relationship with the prep process, I think it’s safe to say that trial and error leaves me forging preferences for very specific items in the fitness spectrum (beauty too, but that is a topic for another day). In this post, I will discuss all of the things that make my very busy (fit) life easier, and better.
Koss Fit Series
It’s not just speculation, but a proven fact that music can help you push harder, and for longer. Way back in December, I reviewed and featured the Koss Fit Series Flex Fit Earbuds, as part of a Fitfluential campaign. For a refresher, click over to the post here: Krasey Fit Holiday Gift Guide. Long story short, these Koss headphones rock for their quality, durability, and exceptional fit. Even better, Walgreens is running a sale where you can get all styles and colors of the Fit Series for $19.99, which is a $10 discount from the standard price. Deal and music lovers alike rejoice, and head over to your local Walgreens to take advantage of this promo!
PUMA Mobium Elite XT
Now that prep is getting intense, I am doing a lot, and I mean A LOT of running. Witness above the only footwear that I will ever run the distance in (or do any kind of cardio, for that matter)- the PUMA Mobium Elite XT’s. Each season sees a new revamp in style and design, and this coming spring has them out in my beloved PINK AND PURPLE. These shoes truly only get better and better with each new incarnation, and with these, I see the lightest, springiest pair, yet. They offer up excellent cushioning, shock protection, and flexibility.
In the war against cellulite, Fat Fader lotion is my not-so-secret factor in the skin-tightening equation. This energizing, moisturizing blend, when combined with a clean diet and a healthy cardio routine eliminates cellulite and tightens up loose skin rather nicely. All in all, it’s a very winsome combination.
Tell me some of your gym-bag staples in the comments!
