On this journey towards self enlightenment, both in the fitness and the nutritional realm, I’ve come to realize that certain things that I used to label treats are just plain good for me, and when incorporated into my diet make both my body and my mind happier. Enter the nut butter, a new discovery for me that makes my taste buds sing. I’ve tried quite a few, but none are more bombastic than Nuttzo. Allow me to tell you all about just how awesome Nuttzo nut butters are, mmmk?
Let me begin my stating that I hate standard peanut butter (Jiff and Skippy, I’m looking at you!). I blame the Hebraic school I attended in my younger years, that forced PB&J sandwiches into my lunch repertoires until my young stomach couldn’t stand the sight of them. Researching nutrition as I have been doing, I discovered that most of the standard brands are packed with additives anyway, and I most certainly don’t want those in my body.
Nuttzo was a brand I discovered after reading a tweet from a fitness guru, hailing it as the best thing since (or between) sliced bread. Naturally, I had to investigate, and by investigate, I mean stuff my face with nut butter deliciousness.
So why is Nuttzo so awesome from a nutritional standpoint? For starters, it’s organic, and that’s always a good thing. It’s also packed chock-full of Omega 3’s and healthy fats, thanks to the combination of flax seeds, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, brazil nuts, peanuts, and hazelnuts.
But you may not care about all of that, now. Do it for the taste!
If you love to nosh on nuts at all, then you really have to try Nuttzo. Trust me when I say that this stuff is all that and a bag of raw almonds.
