UPDATED WITH WINNERS!! What’s in My Medicine Cabinet, and a Vaseline Giveaway

**Thanks to all who entered! The winners of the giveaway are:Lisa, Gayann, Diane, Margo, and Amanda. Ladies, check your email, and CONGRATULATIONS!!**

I’m a beauty blogger, which means that by profession, I feel obligated inclined to surround myself with the most awesome beauty products around. Clearly, I would be both remiss and severely limiting if I only covered what’s in my traincase(s), so this post is all about what’s in my other beauty space- my medicine cabinet. These are my go-to’s for basic beauty.

Before I begin, I invite you all to think about the following statistic:

“Over one-third (34%) of women admit to having more than 20 products stored in their medicine cabinet.”* Well if 1/3 has 20+ products going for them, you’d imagine that my numbers would be slightly higher, and they typically are. However, baring my stash has made me a bit self-conscious, so I’ve done a bit of preemptive spring cleaning. What you are seeing here is my new and improved medicine cabinet.

And here it is:

Vaseline® Total Moisture®

First and most certainly best, the newest addition to my arsenal. I already know the Vaseline brand well, so it only makes sense that I embrace Total Moisture into my routine. A lot of lotions out there either work well, or feel good, but Vaseline does both. Not only is the formulation ultra-hydrating and fast absorbing, but it also smells absolutely fabulous. While there are three options to choose from, Aloe Fresh has quickly become my favorite. Did you know that “61% (or nearly two-thirds) of women own more than one body lotion, and almost one-fourth (23%) say they own more than four.”? Well, this beauty blogger right here keeps only this one handy.

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

An oldie but goodie, I have been using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly for practically ever. I am not even joking or embellishing when I say that my lips are never without Vaseline, nor are they ever chapped, split, or dry.

Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant

Because smelly is never beautiful, Secret’s Clinical Strength Deodorant is powerful enough to protect me, even during my toughest workouts.

TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

For those days when I can’t get that extra hair washing in, but don’t want to walk around with dingy hair.

Q Tips

For everything from makeup touchups, to cleaning up nail polish snafus, Q Tips are a bathroom staple of mine. Seriously, they do it all.

Now that you have seen my medicine cabinet, I’d like to divert your attention to a giveaway!

I invite you all to tell me how many lotions you have in your medicine cabinet, for the chance to win one of FIVE prize packs, including Vaseline Total Moisture! Giveaway ends in a week, so get those entries in!

I have 7 body lotions and 5 facial lotions (I’m a product junkie). Luckily you didn’t ask how many lotions were under my bathroom sink…that may have been embarassing lol.

I’m always trying new ones, so I’ve got five body lotions on hand (though only one regular brand).

I probably have about 5 different lotions in my cabinets, all of which are partially used and have gone rotten by now. I tried them, didn’t like them and didn’t have the heart to throw them away. So they’ve been sitting there for years. Right nowm I haven’t been using any moisturizer and my body is as dry as could be. It itches so badly that I’m drawing blood. So receiving Vaseline lotion would be a blessing. Thank you for another giveaway and good luck to all.

I kind of suck at the lotion thing. I’ve got a St. Ives Whipped Silk and a Bath and Body Works Stress Relief (that’s the old name, I never remember the new one). I’ve just never managed to find lotion very useful :/
