Readers, I have a confession to make. I am a uninhibited, unapologetic, slightly nuts (shhh) LUSH fanatic. From hair to feet, I can’t help but want to cover my entire body in anything and everything the quintessential brand creates. With good reason too, since it’s so great for me. Witness my beauty routine, recently amended to include a slew of fantastic new additions to the Lush Bath and Body lines. Can we say ahhh-mazing?
The fun starts in the shower, Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner
What can I say about Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner besides the fact that this stuff is freaking awesome. I am not typically a rose girl, but the scent of this decadent, hydrating, super emollient lotion smells like strawberry jam, all sweet but not cloying. Packed with cypress oil, capuacu butter, Brazil nut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil, argan oil, and glycerin, the body conditioner is applied in the shower, and then rinsed off to leave skin silky silky smooth.
The moisturizing fun continues outside of the shower, with Peace and Friends with Benefits Massage Bars. Post shower drydown, I apply one of these rich, moisturizing bars for lasting moisture and scent.
Peace is a scent inspired by the London riots, a solution to heal troubled skin.
Friends with Benefits Massage Bar is slightly sexier moisture bar, packed with essential oils and carrying the scent of chocolate covered oranges.
Lustre Dusting Powder
For a night on the town, Lustre Dusting Powder adds shimmer, shine, and scent to the skin. It carries the scent of Lust fragrance, that is to say it smells like jasmine.
LUSH No Drought
For those days when my hair smells less than fresh and feels kind of dirty, LUSH’s No Drought Dry Shampoo absorbs oil while imparting the delicate scent of citrus. A couple of quick run-throughs and no one is wiser for the wear.
Take it from this LUSH addict, a day in the life is a great feeling and smelling one, indeed. Find all of these new LUSH additions both online, and at your local LUSH shop.
