At Mara Hoffman, the beauty look was strong, powerful, and tribal chic. Let’s discuss.
The makeup team, led by Lottie for Make Up For Ever created a look for the models that was both strong and confident. Strong brows became the star of the show. First, the model’s faces were prepped with Make Up For Ever HD foundation, and then chiseled to perfection using eye shadows 76 and 98. Uplight and Star Powders # 902 and 974 finished up the flawless faces.
For the eyes, eye shadow # 76, and star powders #930 and #974, followed by khol liner #1K in black, and Flash Color #11 for a slightly smudged, worn look. To finish the eyes, Smoky Lash Mascara
Lips were treated to Rouge Artist Lipstick in #39, and Glossy Full Gloss in #10
The hair team, led by Nick Irwin for TIGI created a tribal updo by first gathering model’s manes into high, slick-backed ponytails, and then attaching faux hair bunned and braided with brightly patterned scarves. Feathers and other adornments finished the look nicely.
I’m a huge fan of this look. What say you?
