It’s time for our weekly fitness update. As per usual, here are my thoughts on/of the week.
For the first time since this journey began, I find myself unintentionally slacking, and I find it unacceptable.
Now in my defense, this past week’s schedule has been crazier than a coconut, and I am faced with my monthly disposition which is simply unbearable this time around. As a result, I’ve only been to the gym once (once!!!!) this week, and I don’t like it. My energy is down, my weight is surely the same if not higher, and I am on the whole not a happy girl. But I won’t let this month set me off of my course. Next week it’s harder and faster, and more than ever. There is simply no way around it.
Are you all disappointed in me?
Since I began my whole fitness experience, I feel I’ve set precedent in my constant activity levels. This being the first week that I haven’t performed, I feel almost ashamed to admit it. I feel like I’ve let you all down, somehow. Is that normal?
In other news, my customized Nike Shox have arrived in the mail! Is anyone surprised to note that not only are they in krasey colors, but they are also engraved with the word krasey in the back. Needless to say, I am already obsessed. They match all of my Under Armour outfits so well, too.
As most of you know, the east coast was slammed with Hurricane Irene this weekend, and living in NYC put me right in the thick of it. Thankfully, no damage was sustained to our apt, or to fixtures in the neighborhood. To all those who weren’t so lucky, my thoughts are with you. Mother nature means business!
