Make Up For Ever Launches Not Retouched

When it comes to beauty, the art is in the illusion. Or, so we have been brought to believe by the glossy ads and commercials that we see every single day. Countless photos are expertly retouched daily, creating false hopes for those expecting miracle products. Nevermind, if the product is really all that and a bag of potato chips (like M.U.F.E is, obviously).

Make Up For Ever Not Retouched

Well, Make Up For Ever is out to change all of that. In the first campaign of its kind, Make Up For Ever has launched Not Retouched, a print and online make up campaign that has not been digitally retouched, and is certified by a notary public.

The goal of the campaign is to show that any woman can look flawless and fabulous in the real world, sans retouching and airbrushing. All you need is the proper technique, and the HD range from Make Up For Ever, and you have got yourself the makings of something wonderful.

For full details, please stop by the official site for the campaign, www.hd-not-retouched.com.  The site features the video created to complement the ads, and behind the scenes footage of the shoot.  Everything was shot in Paris in December 2010, and the looks were conceptualized by MAKE UP FOR EVER Creator and Artistic Director, Dany Sanz.

Pretty amazing, no?
