Deborah Lippmann Holiday Polishes

When it comes to the holiday season, nothing screams festive and fun more that gold and silver sparkle. On that note, Deborah Lippmann has released two special shades of sequined polish to start the festivities off right. It’s kind of like a disco dance party, only for your nails, and classier.

Today Was a Fairytale takes silver, and turns it inside out by adding a blue cast to the clear base, and a plethora of silvery sequins and microglitter. Adding to the luxe feel of the polish is virgin diamond powder, which sounds kind of special.

Boom Boom Pow is a polish that has the potential to be naughty, but is actually quite nice. A clear base holds gold microglitter, real 24k gold dust, and chunky gold sequins to match. While the polish is quite subtle on its own (see the swatch below), I think it truly shines when paired with darker polishes underneath.

Nothing excites me more than a sequined nail polish, and this holiday season Deborah Lippmann brings the eager masses not one, but two blinged out shades! It goes without saying that any sequined nail polish junkie needs to have these in their life. To participate, visit the Deborah Lippmann website today.

I’m feeling the silver more than the gold, but I definitely think both of these would make for fabulous New Year’s Even polishes. I thought the gold was going to be a little darker though.
