Guerlain Les Voilettes Mineral
Dear readers, please indulge me. Allow me to play a little game of show and tell, during which I show you one of my newfound cosmetic loves, and tell you a little bit about how it works for me. Guerlain’s Les Voilettes Loose Powder has captured my heart in so many ways, so naturally, I feel obliged to share.
The packaging is the first thing that caught my attention, a golden, very oblate spheroid. So shiny that it appears mirrored, the golden lid twists open to reveal a very luxurious black satin powder puff. Delving deeper and removing the puff, a twist of the container unlocks the powder, which is lighter than air, finely milled, and decadently scented with Guerlain’s iconic violet scent.
Yes, it is a mineral powder, and yes, I have previously declared that I have a great dislike for mineral foundation powders. With the addition of this golden wonder to my very own arsenal, allow me to make an exception to my own rule. Unlike other mineral powders that I have tried, this one is so finely milled that it does not settle into or accentuate imperfections. Thanks to the lighter than air consistency, the powder never appears cakey.
The loose powder yields, quite literally, skin perfection. With just the swirl and twirl of a loose, fluffy brush, my skin is left even, luminous, and projecting a radiance that even I didn’t know I possessed. See for yourself!

And in action, wearing nothing on my face but the powder.
For a mineral powder that defies expectations, and blows all other, lesser powders out of the water, Les Voilettes is it. From the delicately scented particles of powder, down to the gilded dome that houses it, Guerlain has created a gem to covet, treasure, and display on esteemed armoires everywhere.
Adina, what a freakin gorgeous powder!!! It’s rare when anyone can say that about a loose powder! and everything about the packaging screams luxury!
btw – sorry for being MIA!! I can’t begin to explain the craziness going on, lol (new puppy included) BUT, I still read all your posts 😀
Janine, I have missed you! I love that you appreciate the beauty of the powder as much as I do. It is one to check out, for sure. 🙂
