New Obsession- Votre Vu Duette

I have an unnatural obsession with lotions and shower products that smell like baked goods. My shower and bedroom smell like a bakery, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Question: What is my newest obsession?

Answer: Votre Vu‘s Duette, a lip and hand duo that is killing me softly with the scent of a warm, hot, flaky almond tart.

Votre Vu is a natural-based French skincare company that is causing quite a stir in the US market. With a wonderful array of products backed by results, this French export is right up there with brie and macaroons.

On the outside, Duette appears to be your typical (albeit sinfully scented) hand cream. Closer inspection reveals the added surprise- a rich, emollient lipbalm that repairs the lips in the most spectacular way.

Words cannot convey how delicious the rich handcream and silky lipbalm smell. It takes every ounce of self restraint I have not to sniff my softened hands or lick my lips every two seconds. I am that obsessed.

You can find this delicious little multitasking wonder, along with the rest of the Votre Vu lineup online.

You are so right, it smells edible, like a cake and frosting. The Lip balm is also fabulous, with shea butter, beeswax and protection for your lips.
