Not since Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider have guns and bullets been this sexy. Here are two brands that have recently slipped into my radar, and have my heart doing funny things with wanting them.

Juliette Has A Gun
is a sweet little line of perfumes that packs one heck of a punch. Eschewing traditional packaging and concept, Romano Ricci created a brand that sends your olfactory sensors into overdrive while stimulating you visually with uniquely pleasing packaging. The line currently boasts a trio of complex scents to choose from, with each one representing a different type of persona. Adding to the wow factor, each fragrance comes in a travel sized, bullet shaped roll-on. I am not the type of girl who leans towards violence by any stretch, but there is something in that bullet shape that looks so beautiful to me.
While passing through Henri Bendel, I happened to come across the line, and immediately fell in love with Miss Charming- a delightfully sweet and girly scent with notes of Moroccan Rose, fruit, and a slight hint of musk. I didn’t pick it up right then and there, but you better believe that this is on my list for the next time.
Ellis Faas Cosmetics
A relative newcomer to the beauty realm, Ellis Faas
cosmetics is a line with an aesthetic and concept unlike anything I have ever seen before. Inspired by the human body and nature, each and every shade is created in the image of colors that naturally occur in the body. Instead of flowers and landcape, Faas’ hues are inspired by the color of freckles, hair, and even of blood. All of the products are fluid and encased in bullet packaging, giving the line an eerily ethereal beauty. While I have not had the opportunity to check this out in person yet, my fellow beauties are already giving the line rave reviews. I am sure it won’t be long before I succumb to the urge to explore.
What say you to these unique brands, and how do you feel about bullet packaging?
